CZECH Pivo
XIV ANNIVERSARY BEER
Czech Pale Lager || 5.2% || Czech Mug || 14° P
Taste: Cracker, Honey, Spicy Hop
Notes: Notch's 14th anniversary beer! Enhanced double decoction, open fermented, naturally carbonated and lagered forever. We employed an intensive double decoction mash to create a delicate yet deep malt character to balance the bitterenss. Open fermented, naturally carbonated and maturated in horizontal lagering tanks for months, this process is all but impossible for modern day US brewers.

Taste: Beachwood Smoke, Bright, Malty
Notes: An unfiltered Bavarian pale lager traditionally served with a slight haze direct from the lagering tank. Hopped with Spalt, this beer displays a nice balance of malt sweetness and hop bite. Notes of lemon and citrus, supported by a bready, light body.
Rauch Helles Bock
Strong Helles Rauchbier || 5.8% || Willi Becher
Taste: Beachwood Smoke, Bright, Malty
Notes: Rauch Helles Spezial is a stronger strength version of Lost in the Dream Helles Rauchbier, with a more pronounced smoke (rauch) character and fuller body.
MÄRZEN
Bavarian Amber Lager || 6.2% || Willi Becher
Taste: Toast, Caramel, Pepper
Notes: Marzen (German for March) is typically brewed in March and served in Sept/ Oct. This is the beer that was served at Oktoberfest before Festbier took over. Why is it available in April? For no other reason than we chose to park it in a lagering tank all winter. We brewed this on July 31st, moved it to a lagering tank at the end of September and there it sat for six months.

KELLERBIER - 16OZ 4-PACK
Franconian Pale Lager || 4.9%
Taste: Malty, Herbal, Pepper
Notes: Kellebier, Zwickel, Ungespundet and Landbier are often used interchangeably in Bavaria, and the designation is usually determined by region or the brewer's whim. But these beers share similar traits in that they are not filtered (or fined),which results in a slight haze, and they are mostly served on draft. Our Kellerbier is a pale version with a slightly higher ABV than our Zwickelbier, and carries a bigger, firmer maltiness.
